2018 Kickoff Day Information

Agenda for 2018 Kickoff Day:

 8:00      Doors Open / Check In Begins / Light Breakfast /
               Early Kit Distribution (as appropriate)

 9:00      Kickoff Game Briefing Begins - "All Hands on Deck"  to start and end on time, please!

10:00    Break Out Sessions:              Notebooks

                                                                  Software—Beginner’s EasyC

                                                                  Final Kit  Distribution

12:00    Kickoff Ends (if not earlier) / Lunch Break for teams staying through afternoon

 1:00      Build Session Begins (by arrangement only!)

 4:00      Build Session Ends (if not earlier)

 

All rookie teams are invited and strongly encouraged to attend the optional afternoon Build Session, where we will set up a small workshop and work with a limited number of team members to allows them to begin supervised, hands-on work for several common, basic robot components.  This is "on the job training" at its finest!  We do need to know which teams are planning to stay for this and how many students and coaches will participate from each team.  Lunch would be on your own. 
We  might be able to accommodate a few of the returning teams depending on rookie teams participation, so if your returning team is interested, let us know and "we'll talk about it".  No promises, at least not right now!

 

A big "Thank You" again goes to our host school students, teachers, administration, staff, and volunteers for hosting Kickoff and the Build Session this year.  Please let them know how much you appreciate that!
